Interactive Arena Map
Tap a seating area or a pin. The court sits nearly 32 feet below street level, so you walk down to most seats from the street-level concourse. Club seats are on both sidelines; the 400s are the upper level. Always use the section printed on your mobile ticket.
Simplified and not to scale, and not turned to match the street grid. Use the area map below for entrances. Check the official 3D seat map for your exact section.
Pick a seating area or pin
Quick version for first-timers:
- Sidelines hold the Frost Bank West (105–109) and East (118–122) club seats.
- Upper level (400s) is the budget pick with a full view of the court.
- Need help? Guest Experience booths are across from section 125 and section 434.
- With a bag, enter at Jackson St. or the Bell Atrium.

Game Night Timeline
Run the night like a playbook. Times are for a standard 7:30 p.m. tip; weekend afternoon and national TV games shift. Check your event-day email and Toyota Center’s Instagram for entry changes during construction.
Parking, METRORail & Traffic
The arena’s own garage is closed to the public on Rockets game days, so plan ahead: reserve a nearby garage, or ride the train. Official directions & parking page ↗
Toyota Tundra Garage
The 2,500-space garage on the arena’s south side, with a skybridge to Toyota Center for suite, courtside and club seat holders. On Rockets game days it’s not available to non-passholders.
Nearby garages & lots
The Avenida North (701 Avenida de las Americas) and Avenida South (1710 Polk St.) garages are next door, plus surface lots and street parking around downtown. Garages within a couple of blocks have typically run $20–$30 on event nights; prepaid apps like ParkMobile are often cheaper than drive-up.
METRORail
The Green and Purple lines stop at Convention District and EaDo/Stadium, a short walk from the arena. Red Line riders can use Bell station on Main St. and walk east. Details at RideMETRO.org/ToyotaCenter.
⛔ Construction & closures
- Construction runs between Toyota Center and the George R. Brown Convention Center.
- Polk St. has been closed to traffic between Chartres St. and Avenida de las Americas.

Pregame
Tailgating isn’t allowed in the official Toyota Center garage, so Rockets pregames happen inside early and around downtown.
Red Rush 90
From doors (90 minutes before tip) until tipoff, fans in Rockets gear get 50% off Michelob ULTRA and domestic beers, Pepsi products, hot dogs, popcorn and pretzels. It’s the reason to get there early this season.

Rockets Traditions
Houston is Clutch City. Here’s how to show up like Red Nation — now in ketchup and mustard.
Red Nation, Back in Yellow
The Rockets returned to their 1971–95 colors for 2026–27: Rocket Red and Championship Yellow, the “ketchup and mustard” of the title teams. Wear red — it also gets you Red Rush 90 prices.
Clutch City
Houston’s nickname since the 1994 title run, when the Rockets answered a “Choke City” headline by winning it all — then did it again in 1995.
Clutch the Bear
The Rockets’ Hall of Fame mascot since 1995. Expect silly string, pranks and ladder stunts. His birthday game is Jan. 3.
Red Rowdies
The Rockets’ superfan group marches through the concourse to get the building loud. Wear red and follow the noise.
Heart of a Champion
“Never underestimate the heart of a champion.”
Rudy Tomjanovich, after the 1995 title. Rudy T gets a bobblehead on Dec. 16.
Space City
Houston is home to NASA’s Johnson Space Center, and the Dunkstronaut is now a permanent part of the brand. Space City Saturdays bring the black uniforms and the Dunkstronaut court.
2026–27 Rockets Home Schedule
All 40 announced home games at Toyota Center. Times are Central; most tips are 7:30 p.m., and weekend afternoon and national TV games are listed where they differ. Two December dates depend on NBA Cup results. Always confirm on Rockets.com.
Watching away games?
Upcoming road trips include San Antonio at Austin’s Moody Center (Oct. 23), Atlanta (Oct. 24), Milwaukee (Oct. 28) and Dallas (Oct. 30). Find watch parties and other games in the Pro Gameday Finder.
Where to Stay
Stay downtown near the convention district and walk to the game. Convention weeks fill these hotels fast, so book early or ride METRORail in from Midtown or the Museum District.
