North of FM 1097 should be treated as timber- and stump-prone upper-lake water, with additional shallow creek arms and channel-edge hazards. Conditions change with water level, vegetation, debris, and marker maintenance. Always obey SJRA/TPWD signage and current on-water markers and reduce speed in unfamiliar water. For emergencies call 911. Emergency-service pins identify response facilities for trip-planning awareness; do not travel to a station instead of calling 911. Fuel availability, grades, and operating hours can change, so confirm before relying on a fuel stop.
