1990s-2000s: This period marked the golden era of Rams football under coach Sonny Lubick. Hired in 1993, Lubick revitalized the program, leading the Rams to six conference championships (1994, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2000, and 2002) and nine bowl appearances. The team achieved national rankings and significant wins, including victories over ranked teams and memorable performances in the Liberty Bowl and the Holiday Bowl.
