1. Chicago Bears: Caleb Williams, QB, USC
    • The Bears are locked into Williams and now with Fields in Pittsburgh there is no doubt Chicago will look to Williams to be the face of the franchise.
  2. Washington Commanders: J.J. Mc Carthy, QB, Michigan
    • Washington needs a quarterback and every draft has a surprise and here is the first one. Just like Baker Mayfield climbed the ranks the stock on McCarthy is rising and while teams like Denver and Minnesota would like to have a shot at McCarthy at 4 or 5. I think Washington turns the draft on its head early.
  3. New England Patriots: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
    • With Daniels and Maye on the board, New England will get several trade offers from quarterback hungry teams. The problem is the Patriots are one of them. As tempting as it could be to trade out of this spot for picks the Patriots don’t pass up a franchise QB and take Daniels.
  4. Arizona Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr. WR, Ohio State
    • Arizona will receive many calls from quarterback hungry teams most notably the Broncos and Vikings, but with McCarthy off the board I think the Cardinals won’t get the package they want from Denver and to pass on Harrison Jr. might be too hard to do. While they should trade the pick, I believe they won’t get what they want and take the best wide receiver in the draft.
  5. Minnesota Vikings: (Trade LA Chargers) Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
    • Jim Harbaugh could go in many different directions with this pick and a wide receiver could be at play here, but with Maye on the board the Chargers will get an excellent trade package from Minnesota who jumps up and finds their replacement for Kirk Cousins.
  6. New York Giants: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
    • The Giants probably didn’t think Maye would be on the board at number 5 when they agreed to bring in Drew Lock, so they could be in at play to trade up a spot, but they need wide receiver help as well and it would be pretty easy for them to stick with Jones or Lock one more year.
  7. Tennessee Titans: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
    • I see Tennessee continue to build their offensive line around their young single caller Will Levis. Alt provides some insurance for replacing Lewan, and continues to add pieces to an offensive line that needs it.
  8. Atlanta Falcons: Dallas Turner, Edge Rusher, Alabama
    • All of a sudden the Falcons are a team to pay attention to in the NFC. With Cousins in the mix and a bunch of fire power on offense, I believe the Falcons look to improve their pass rush and add a piece that could put them in the playoff hunt. A quarterback could be in play here as well.
  9. Chicago Bears: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
    • There could be some conversations here with the Chargers who may want to trade up to take a wide receiver, or maybe with the Raiders who want to grab Penix, but in the end I think the Bears grab a weapon for Williams and a good one in Odunze.
  10. NY Jets: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
    • The Jets could be looking for a wide receiver in this spot, but with the speed and athleticism Bowers brings, I believe Rodgers gets a new target who could be special early on.
  11. LA Chargers: (Trade Minnesota) Taliese Fuaga, Oregon State
    • With Jim Harbagh now in LA we saw how will want to play when he was at Michigan. The Chargers will look to become more physical and with Fuaga’s physicality they will do just that.
  12. Seattle Seahawks: (Trade with Denver) Michael Penix Jr. QB, Washington
    • The Broncos may do all they can to trade up to grab McCarthy at four, but Washington will spoil that party I believe, so Denver looks to add draft capital. The Seahawks bring in Penix Jr. who is no stranger to the PMW and gives them their potential franchise quarterback if they decide to move on from Geno Smith.
  13. Las Vegas Raiders: J.C. Latham, OT, Alabama
    • Vegas may try to trade up to grab, Penix Jr. or hope he falls to them here at 13, but with rather than go with Bo Nix I believe the Raiders will go with a Offensive Tackle to continue their mission of being more physical and start building their roster around Gardner Minshew.
  14. New Orleans Saints: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State
    • The Saints find themselves needing an upgrade at the tackle position following last season and more help getting Derrick Carr on track in New Orleans.
  15. Indianapolis Colts: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
    • With all the runs on quarterbacks and tackles the Colts could be in great shape to grab one of the best corners in the draft. Arnold can play inside or out and provides a great upgrade for the Colts secondary.
  16. Denver Broncos: (Trade with Seattle) Bo Nix, QB, Oregon
    • Denver makes it six quarterbacks taken in the top 16, but they do it by adding some draft capital and taking Nix, who is a good fit for Sean Payton’s system. If Denver could trade down again and draft Nix they should do it, so anyone looking to move up to grab a wide receiver or top defensive talent another trade could be in play here.
