Russell Wilson’s 2015 and 2020 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks was undoubtedly aside for from the Super Bowl 48 win the statistical highlight of his NFL career, marked by consistent performance throughout both years.

Entering his second season under center in Denver, Wilson looked to rebound a dismal season, completing only 3,524 yards, 16 touchdowns, 11 interceptions with a rating of 84.40 under former Head Coach Nathaniel Hackett, which have many of the Broncos faithful hoping they win the draft Caleb Williams sweepstakes after another slow 0-3 start in the Mile High City.

As the great Lee Corso would say to a washed up Wilson “Not so fast my friend”

While the defense has struggled to find it’s form under another former Broncos Head Coach, Vance Joseph. Russell Wilson, is off to a fast start and early returns under new Coach Sean Payton are beginning to possibly show Broncos Country the quarterback issues which have plagued the franchise since Payton Manning walked out the door may have left with Hackett as well.

Russell Wilson though four games appears to be the quarterback Denver thought they were getting with their trade with Seattle. Wilson is on pace to through for over 4300 yards, 38 touchdowns, 9 picks with a respectable 67.4% percentage.

The Broncos are currently sitting at 1-3, but if Denver is able to find their defensive way the remainder of the season could turn into being a remarkable come back story, which if anything has the Broncos feeling they have found their quarterback and for the first time in a long time having the Broncos offense be relevant again.
